The scope of work consists of approximately two (2) acres on the Northeast corner of the Las Positas College Campus has been allocated for a new Horticulture Facility. Located east of the existing maintenance and operations buildings off of the existing roundabout, the new facility will have a classroom building with an office/resource library and lactation room within, a greenhouse, a shade house, a covered outdoor learning patio, outdoor student project areas, orchards, growing grounds, equipment storage with adjacent carport, soil bins, and a parking lot that can accommodate thirty (30) stalls including two (2) accessible parking spaces. The scope of work includes the construction of said structures above, site demolition, site paving, site grading, construction of site elements. Documents will note the extent of demolition.
