The construction work includes renovation of room A302a in Building 21 to install a new MRI unit with equipment that also meets MRI safety zone requirements. The renovation will include but not be limited to the following: Demolition of an existing wall, metal window frame, and glass. Partial removal of acoustic ceiling tiles and lighting fixtures. Relocation of ductwork, VAV box, hydronic piping, and electrical wiring. Construction of a new wall with paint and cove base. Install a new hollow metal frame for the door and window. Install a new wood door and window glass. Install new electrical wiring and receptacles for the new equipment. Install new chilled water supply piping for the new equipment.
